Mobile System Design Interview Blueprint

As a lead/senior mobile engineer, I have found that mobile system design is often overlooked in traditional system design resources, making it challenging to know how to prepare for mobile engineering interviews. Having previously worked with Andrey as a coaching client on mobile system design, I was excited to try his Mobile System Design Interview Blueprint.

The course is very well structured and provides a clear framework for approaching mobile system design interviews, from understanding expectations by seniority to structuring your answer and communicating your design effectively. The concrete exercises, such as designing a News Feed or Messenger app, make it especially practical, while lessons on architecture, SOLID principles, design patterns, APIs, and diagramming reinforce the technical concepts behind the designs.

What stood out most to me is that Andrey puts himself in both the interviewee’s and interviewer’s shoes. His guidance around common pitfalls, strategy, and time management is incredibly valuable for turning a good answer into a great one.

I highly recommend this course to any mobile engineer preparing for a system design interview. It fills a real gap in mobile-specific interview preparation and is a great resource for building both the skills and confidence to excel.

A great course for expanding your knowledge and building confidence for a mobile system design interview. The course is well structured and covers all the key aspects of mobile system design, with plenty of practical examples. The material is presented clearly and is genuinely interesting to listen to.
